My favorite Life video.
And this one. This one is all emo about Crews and Reese and that's generally not my thing either but give it a chance. It's very good and it's not one of those.
You know, where they cut the thing to make it look like the two characters want to kiss when they really don't...
It just uses what the characters' relationship actually is.
What it is is bloody awesome.

Sigh, I just like to watch him walk.
Yes, the walk. You are not kidding. I was pleased that both of those videos used the scene from the pilot where he pulls Jennifer's husband over, because that was where I noticed the walk for the first time. :-)
I really have been meaning to sit down and watch Life--I enjoyed the first ep. One of these years. ;-)
There's some interview with Damian Lewis floating around where he talks about calling Hugh Laurie to ask for advice about the whole...thing. Very cute. I'll see if I can find it.
/dumb.
A Brit playing an eccentric American in a position of authority? At one time it might've been sneered at, but not anymore. Not considering the way Stateside auds have bought into Hugh Laurie as the mercurial Dr. House.
Yet the similarities between Laurie and "Life" star Damian Lewis go way beyond their onscreen personas.
While the two are from the same area and are living somewhat similar career paths right now, they had never spoken to one another before a phone call last year.
"I bought his house in London," Lewis says from the U.K., just a few weeks before coming to Los Angeles to begin filming the second season of his NBC drama. "His agent was a mutual friend, and I called him to say ‘I'm sitting in your bedroom.’"
(In the video clip, he then talked more about their conversation, how nice HL was, and advice he gave.)
"Hugh's advice was, 'You better get used to working hard. Incredibly hard.'"
Hah! So true. I've heard him say a few times how ridiculously different the schedule is. 6 episodes against 22? Like a different universe. I honestly don't begrudge most actors their pay at all, because they work like dogs.
And they entertain me, so there's that. :-)
Do you suppose DL gets bloody sick of eating fruit? He must.
