As if I didn't already want to kiss EW on the lips for its BSG love, they have a feature article on Life this week.  I don't consider it spoilery, but if you want to be pure as the driven snow, skip it.  Some excerpts:

"Of all the dramas out there, this one isn't supposed to be grim," says Shahi.  "It's about reinvention and getting a second shot."

In Lewis (Ravich) found the necessary combination of strength, sensitivity and goofiness.  "He does not mind that the joke is on him at all.  But he can also drag you into a bathroom and kick your ass."

Donal Logue joins the cast this season as the department's captain, Kevin Tidwell.  (Sadly, Robin Weigert is gone.)

....getting lucky is Crews' prison buddy and current roommate, Ted Earley (Adam Arkin) who continues his romance with Olivia (Mad Men's Christina Hendricks), the fiancee of Crews' father.

NBC Ent. co-chair Ben Silverman, on the heavy scheduling of Life during the first 2 weeks:  "...we wanted to make sure we were giving (Life) every opportunity.  I think you're going to see we have more and more patience at NBC."  Wow, get out your fruit, Life fans; it sounds like the Zen is catching.

Color me skeptical, Ben Silverman.  But I guess understanding that you have a problem is the first step.

The addition of Donal Logue makes me all kinds of happy. I really like him. I'm so looking forward to this season. (And yeah, I'll miss Robin)

I will be DVR'ing and watching Live in hope that it helps.

I'm not there yet on Donal Logue, but that's just because the last thing I saw him in was "Men with Guns." (Three guesses why I watched it. The first two don't count and the third one is my icon.)

The movie was just so bloody and sad and pathetic and Donal Logue's character was SO unappealing. I'll be happy to cleanse my palate with a his new character on Life. :-)

Yes, watch live! The networks still cling to ratings. The devil they know.

Oh, now I'm excited. Skeptical, but excited. Cautiously optimistic, as it were. Thanks for posting this!

I like Logue quite a bit, but Robin Weigert, in addition to having been Calamity Jane, had actually done a very fine job creating and developing a character. And because she was there this was one of the only shows that had a proper male to female balance on main characters.

Still, my joy is absolute.

Yep. I loved her little arc from start to finish of that season, and I was looking forward to more of her. *hmmpf* Maybe RW got a better gig?

Still, indeed. I'm pretty happy. And I think Dani's hair is good this season, so there's that. :-)
